Meet the Arranger
Long before I became a harp teacher, I was a student asking my own teacher, "Can we play this pop song?" I loved popular music and wanted to play it on the harp, but there were very few pop arrangements for harp available at the time.
Years later, I discovered that my own students were asking the same question. “Can I learn to play this pop song I love on the harp?”
While many excellent pop harp arrangements are available today, relatively few are thoughtfully crafted for the intermediate harpist. As both a teacher and an arranger, I began to ask whether it was possible to create arrangements that balanced musical integrity and playability. That question has shaped my work ever since. My goal is to create music that is enjoyable to play, faithful to the original song, and thoughtfully written to help harpists grow in both confidence and musicianship.
